North Face’s Commitment to the Environment:
Nature
is at the heart of what we do. It’s why we created four actionable
commitments guided by science-based targets set by our parent company ,
VF
- We aim for our top five
highest greenhouse gas emissions materials to be recycled,
responsibly-sourced renewable and/or regeneratively grown across all of
our product categories by 2030.
- We’re committed to reducing our
product impacts by partnering with suppliers on reducing the greenhouse
gas emissions intensity per product we produce by 50% by 2030.
- Circularity
means keeping resources, like used products or fabric scraps, in use at
the highest value possible. By revolutionizing our materials, processes
and supply chain through this lens, we can work together to give old
gear new adventures.
- We refurbish used and damaged gear, fine-tuning it for another lifetime of exploration.
